Conditions of the University Scholarship

International students can apply directly to the undergraduate programs offered at Sabancı University. Students who are in their final year of high school or graduated from a school equivalent to Turkish high schools can apply for undergraduate programs at Sabancı University.

A. Applicants who meet the conditions below are eligible to apply:

1) international students,

2) Those who have Turkish citizenship by birth and have renounced their Turkish citizenship, and their children under the age of 18 who are listed in the renunciation document but documenting their certification of the rights mentioned in the Turkish Citizenship Law, no. : 5901, point 7, stating that “Anyone born, in Turkey or abroad, of the marriage of a Turkish mother or father, is a Turkish citizen. » Applicants who wish to apply under the category “applications from abroad” should review the Turkish Citizenship Law.

3) Those who have citizenship of other countries by birth; and have obtained the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey / those who have dual citizenship,

4) a) Those who have the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey and have completed the last 3 years of their secondary education in another country except the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus before 01/02/2013. (Including those who have completed their secondary education in a Turkish high school opened in another country, except those in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, under the MEB.)

b) Those who begin their secondary education after 01/02/2013 abroad and complete all of their secondary education abroad, with the exception of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. (Including those who have completed their secondary education in a Turkish high school opened in another country, except those in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, under the MEB.)

5) Those who have the citizenship of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, who reside in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and who have completed their secondary education in a GCE AL system, as well as those who have registered and completed their Secondary studies in a GCE AL system abroad between 2005-2010.

Applicants with the below conditions cannot apply:

1) who have the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey and have completed their secondary education in Turkey or the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus,

2) who hold the citizenship of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (except those who have completed their secondary education in a GCE AL system in TRNC, and those who have registered and completed their secondary education in a system GCE AL abroad between 2005-2010),

3) who possess dual nationality, one of which is the nationality of the Republic of Turkey by birth, as indicated in article (A) point 2 above. (except those who completed their secondary education in a country other than the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus / those who completed their secondary education in a Turkish institution in a country other than the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus),

4) who have dual nationality, one of which is the citizenship of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (except those who have completed their secondary education in a GCE AL system in the TRNC, and those who have enrolled and completed their secondary education in a GCE AL system abroad between 2005-2010),

5) those who have the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey or dual citizenship, one of which is the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey by birth, as indicated in article A point 2 above, and who have completed their secondary education at embassy establishments or other foreign institutions in Turkey.
